We have implemented an automatic measurement and inspection system using a Keyence 3D measurement probe system that can be simply measured manually. By mounting the probe on the end of an industrial robot and using teaching to make contact with the measurement points, we enable work to be done without human intervention. Each probing contact position is detected by the camera and automatically registered, judged, and exported as 3D coordinate data to the PC. In anticipation of automation, we can also accommodate operator-less automatic reading, selection, and measurement instructions from the previous process after consultation. If you have specific documents or data formats, we will also discuss and accommodate conversion outputs tailored to your requirements.

Industrial robots can select models with operating ranges suitable for the workpiece. Due to contact measurement, the accuracy is higher compared to non-contact measurements using lasers, and there is no concern about halation. Since a separately installed camera reads the probe position, there is no influence from errors on the robot side.
