The IC-R30 (ICR30) is a multifunctional wideband handheld receiver manufactured by Icom. It can simultaneously receive and record two channels with dual watch functionality. It receives digital waves and is compatible with various professional radio communications, including D-STAR, Digital Simple Business Radio (DCR), dPMR, NXDN, and P25. It covers a wide frequency range from 0.1 to 3304.999 MHz, supporting AM, FM, WFM, SSB, and CW, allowing reception of amateur radio, air band, marine band, and various utility radios. Additionally, it has a built-in AM bar antenna for AM radio and an earphone antenna circuit for FM radio, ensuring comfortable reception of radio broadcasts, including FM supplementary broadcasts. Note that SSB, CW, and digital modes operate from 0.1 MHz to 1.3 GHz. The scan speed is approximately 200 channels per second (A band) and about 150 channels per second (B band), making it fast. It offers various scanning options, including nearest station scan, program scan, memory scan, mode memory scan, auto memory write scan, priority scan, tone scan, group scan, and group link scan.
