The agricultural machinery components are exposed to road surfaces and gravel, so the outer surface is hardened to improve wear resistance. Traditionally, the workpiece was rotated at low speed for moving hardening, taking 360 seconds per piece to harden one workpiece. This allowed for only 10 pieces to be processed per hour, which posed a challenge in terms of productivity. By adopting Fuji Electronic Industries' one-shot heating immersion hardening, a uniform hardened layer can be ensured around the entire circumference. Additionally, the heating time is significantly shorter compared to moving hardening, reducing the cycle time to 90 seconds per piece and achieving a substantial increase in production capacity.
