"Diamond Paste WITH (oil-based)" finishes to a mirror surface in the final polishing process. Our diamond paste comes in a wide variety, with numerous options available in particle sizes ranging from 1/4μ to 90μ. Since diamond paste consists of diamond abrasives and a paste-like compound, the abrasives move freely without being fixed. Therefore, the pressure applied does not transfer directly, preventing deep scratches. By using it in conjunction with our mold grinding stones, you can achieve greater efficiency.

▼Selection of Diamond Paste 〇Particle Size: Depending on the precision of the previous process and the required precision, finish in order with coarse finishing lap (90μ to 45μ), preliminary lap (30μ to 9μ), precision lap (6μ to 3μ), and mirror lap (1μ to 1/4μ). *If you want to reduce the viscosity of the paste, please dilute it with the dedicated thinner (A-602) for use. Diamond paste is intended for metal polishing. Therefore, it will not achieve a mirror finish on plastic products or lenses. Conversely, it may cause scratches or dull the surface gloss, so please refrain from using it.
