The customer was troubled by the enormous costs and manpower associated with snow removal, such as "snow brought in near the tunnel" and "snow removal from road signs on the main line," as well as the social issues that inadvertently arise. Therefore, in a space within the Yuzawa Interchange in Yuzawa Town, Niigata Prefecture, known for heavy snowfall, we laid down a snow-melting mat about the size of 2 to 3 tatami mats and conducted snow melting tests.
