"SCAMERA-Muse" is an ultra-large digital archive scanner capable of scanning manuscripts up to 2m x 2m in size with ultra-high precision and non-contact technology. It can capture textures in high quality and can be utilized for the digitization, permanent preservation, and restoration of valuable cultural assets, large paintings, folding screens, and sliding door paintings held by museums and art galleries. Additionally, it can be widely used for commercial design data such as building materials, wood grains, stones, carpets, fabrics, design patterns, and posters. *When capturing large manuscripts with a digital camera at high resolution, it is typically necessary to photograph each section divided into a grid and then stitch the images together. (Stitching requires correcting lens distortion for each individual image, followed by extensive adjustments and corrections at the seams, which takes a considerable amount of time.) With SCAMERA-Muse, after setting the manuscript, you simply execute the scan, and it outputs (captures) the large manuscript as a single image, significantly enhancing work efficiency.
