We purify and recover expensive solvents, such as deuterated solvents used in NMR measurements, which are used in small quantities for reuse. Here, we introduce the example of DMSO-d6. DMSO-d6 (deuterated dimethyl sulfoxide) is a solvent used in NMR measurements, with a boiling point of 189°C and a melting point of 20°C. By using "Salt Mini," it is easy to purify, recover, and reuse DMSO-d6. Simply set the waste solvent and turn on the power; after that, you can leave it completely unattended while safely purifying the solvent at normal pressure and low temperature. 【Example of Method】 (1) Place the DMSO-d6 waste liquid (10ML) used as an NMR solvent into the provided 20ML sample bottle and set it in the Salt Mini. (2) Start the purification with the heating section (concentration section) set to 80°C, the cooling section (condensation section) set to 25°C, and the spray level set to 7.0. (3) After about 5 hours, most of the 10ML of DMSO-d6 waste liquid will be distilled and collected in the recovery bottle.
