Ultra-low temperature automated warehouse for long-term and safe storage of samples for drug discovery research.
This is a case study video of the low-temperature automated storage system "Labstokka" delivered to the University of Tokyo Institute of Medical Science. It allows for the safe storage of specimen tubes using liquid nitrogen for cooling. Picking of the tubes is also conducted in an ultra-low temperature environment of -150°C to prevent exposure and protect the quality of the samples.
