Heat exchange paint demonstrates heat insulation effects in colors other than white, as well as in dark colors close to black!
We would like to introduce a case study of the cool tile roof "Thermo Roof," which is eligible for carbon offset, installed in a newly built private residence. By using materials that do not easily increase in surface temperature for the roofing, we mitigate the heat transmitted from the roof to the indoors. Typical heat-reflective coatings work by literally reflecting sunlight to suppress the heat that enters indoors, which is why they often use white or light colors that reflect light. When measured at the same time with an outside temperature of 26°C, the typical tiles reached 61.4°C, while the Thermo Roof reached 50.4°C, resulting in a temperature difference of about 11°C. [Case Overview] ■ Installation Location: Newly built private residence ■ Product Used: Thermo Roof F, smoked gray ■ Installation Effect: A temperature difference of about 11°C was observed with tiles *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
