This company faced challenges with long waiting times for processing at each stage, which hindered their production efficiency. Since workers were processing items in the order they arrived, there were cases where even items with imminent deadlines took several days to move to the next stage. ▼ Main features of the implemented system: - Automatically determines work priority based on delivery dates and processing times. - Displays the current work list on the screen for each process. - Allows workers to check the order and make decisions to proceed with their tasks. ▼ Effects and changes: - A mindset of prioritizing items with approaching deadlines has been established. - Transitioned from a "follow the order given" approach to a "think and act" style. - Reduced bottlenecks between processes, shortening production lead times. Additionally, since work priorities are output in Excel format, they are easy to use on-site, and workers can freely rearrange them.
