Dell Technologies exhibited at "Japan Manufacturing World 2023," held at Tokyo Big Sight from June 21 (Wednesday) to June 23 (Friday). At Dell Technologies' booth, a collaborative display was held with three partner companies: Autodesk, PTC, and SolidWorks, showcasing the latest "Dell Precision" workstation series, which runs each company's 3D design development software smoothly. Additionally, the four companies, including the three ISVs and NVIDIA, conducted mini-sessions to introduce the features of their software and hardware products, benchmark results, and optimal configurations using Dell Precision workstations. The joint demonstration by the three ISVs, typically considered competitors, attracted attention and was featured in an article by ITmedia/MONOist. This year, marking our 25th anniversary, we are pleased to announce the launch of the 14-inch mobile workstations (MWS), Precision 5470 and 3470, which are not part of our past lineup. In introducing the 14-inch MWS, we prioritized performance as a workstation and the robustness of Dell Precision. Like other MWS models, they are equipped with the 12th generation Intel Core H series, with the 5470 featuring NVIDIA RTX A1000 graphics and the 3470 offering T550 graphics. As the chassis becomes smaller and thinner, heat dissipation becomes more challenging, but we have addressed this by adopting Dell's unique opposing exhaust fan (with two in the 5470). Both models have passed durability tests based on MIL-STD 810G (military specifications). The reduction of bezel size has also increased the display's share of the chassis size, with the 5470 using a 16:10 display that has a screen-to-body ratio of 91%.
