Rapid and simple strain typing for quality control and contamination source identification.
■ Low cost of approximately 400 yen per sample ■ Applicable to various microbial species (general bacteria, yeasts, etc.) ■ Results can be analyzed within 3 hours with a simple procedure (standard case) ■ Supports differentiation between strains of the same species ■ Allows for free selection of analysis areas ■ Typing analysis such as serotype differentiation is possible with the learning function of artificial intelligence ■ New analysis methods can be created using the differential display function of analysis areas ■ Equipment used: Microbial strain typing system IR Biotyper

basic information
The IR BioTyper is a Fourier Transform Infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopic system that analyzes the vibrational molecular bonds of carbohydrates, such as glycoproteins, present in many molecules. Part of this FT-IR spectrum can be used as a fingerprint region, enabling microbial strain typing (strain identification) through comprehensive bioinformatics analysis. Regular strain typing of collected microbial isolates allows for proper monitoring of microbial contamination and facilitates proactive root cause analysis and corrective actions in cleaning process management. ● For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.
