This autumn, our company will launch the gas-phase activated carbon "Amasorb XCA-AL," which can simultaneously remove low-level aldehydes, VOCs, and basic substances, targeting manufacturers of deodorizing devices and air conditioning equipment. The base of the activated carbon uses high-performance coconut shell-based activated carbon derived from natural sources. By applying chemicals, the adsorption performance for acetaldehyde has been achieved at approximately three times that of our non-treated products. It is expected to be utilized in a wide range of applications where the removal of aldehydes is necessary, such as food manufacturing lines with fermentation processes, tobacco smoke separation machines, and sick house measures for newly constructed buildings using adhesives.
