[Application Example] Monitoring the Flow Rate of Cooling Water for Injection Molding Machine Molds
The 920MHz band is convenient for wireless networking within factory premises! No wiring work is needed, allowing for immediate centralized monitoring.
We would like to introduce a case where "Kunimaru" was adopted for monitoring the flow rate of cooling water in injection molding machine molds. When the temperature of the mold is not stable during molding, the yield of the products decreases. To stabilize it, water channels are created in the mold, and water is circulated; however, there have been instances of pipe clogging. After the introduction, it became possible to monitor the condition of the equipment and integrate with the production management system. Furthermore, when the flow rate falls below the lower limit, the line indicator light turns on, allowing for immediate action. 【Case Overview】 ■Challenges - Water channels are created in the mold to stabilize it by circulating water, but there can be instances of pipe clogging. ■Products Introduced - 920MHz band multi-hop wireless device "Kunimaru" - IoT terminal "Data Maru" *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
