Quickly recover extremely small contaminants from 1μ to over 10μ! The filter can be backwashed and used for a long time, contributing to improved operational efficiency and cost reduction.
This product was developed to collect fine chips from various sources by using a metal filter made of sintered metal (SUS316). The metal filter has high strength and does not crack or break under pressure. It has low clogging even with repeated use, making it highly effective for collecting fine materials. The metal filter can be backwashed using high-pressure cleaning, allowing for long-term use of filtration and backwashing, which reduces running costs and makes it suitable for capturing various fine materials. No filtration aids are required, and it can reliably collect particles ranging from 1 to 10 μm, as well as particles over 100 μm, simultaneously and effectively. The collected chips can be removed in a dry state. 【Features】 ■ Reliable collection of particles larger than 1 to 5 μm ■ No filtration aids required ■ Long-term use is possible as the metal filter can be backwashed at over ten times the input pressure. ■ The easy chip discharge mechanism allows for removal in a dry state. ■ The device uses sintered metal (SUS316), enabling collection from various sources and excellent durability. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

【Usage】 For example, if this device is used for chip filtration in NC lathes and machining centers, it can capture particles that are an order of magnitude smaller (1-10μ) than before, allowing the coolant to be used for a longer period and also preventing bacterial growth. *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.
Detailed information

This is a flow diagram showing the flow of liquid in the main body. The reverse washing method for the metal filter uses the filtered clean liquid for two rounds of spraying; the first round cleans at 1 MPa from the cylinder, and the second round uses high-pressure cleaning at 2.5 MPa from inside the filter to detach foreign substances from the filter surface. The two-stage cleaning process thoroughly cleans the surface in preparation for filtration. Depending on the size of contaminants, filtration occurs approximately every three minutes, and reverse washing stops filtration for about one minute for cleaning, which is repeated. The timing can be adjusted with a timer.
-
This is a cross-sectional view of a metal filter. During filtration, liquid is drawn in from the outside and filtered on the surface of the filter. After a certain period of time, it is then cleaned by being sprayed outward from the inside at a pressure more than ten times that of the suction during intake.
-
It represents the range of the LCL series. It can cover fine particles such as quartz, polishing powders of materials like carbon black, polishing powders for carbide tools, and even cutting chips from NC lathes and machining centers. Due to its wide range, it is useful for capturing various types of contaminants.
-
We conducted a filtration test using this machine. The test involved powder chips discharged from a centerless grinding machine. The particles range from about 1μ to approximately 300μ. We incorporated this into the machine.
-
It is a filtered clean liquid. It is almost transparent, and no foreign substances can be seen visually. During backwashing, this clean liquid is used to spray out from inside the filter.
-
The powder chips discharged from the centerless grinding machine are filtered and backwashed, and the discharged material is finally collected as powder using a bag filter.
-
The contaminants that have fallen during backwashing are temporarily pooled in this sight glass, and the motor valve at the bottom is opened as needed to send them to the bag filter. Here, the contaminants that have fallen during backwashing can also be visually observed.
-
It is a bag filter and case. Contaminants (such as chips) sent from the sight glass are drained and dried here. Two bag filters are included and used alternately.

At Japan Separator Co., Ltd., we assist in fully automating the production of coolant (cutting fluid) and its replenishment into tanks. Handmade and ejector-based fluid production is outdated! We manufacture and sell filtration devices capable of recovering fine particles from glass polishing, carbide polishing, quartz, and more. Founded in December 1993, we mainly handle oil recovery devices, backwash-type ultra-precision filtration devices, and automatic dilution supply devices for coolant. On March 18, 2021, we received the Invention Encouragement Award from the Japan Invention Promotion Association and the Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun. ♪ We will lend this device for free for one week. Please take this opportunity to thoroughly check its performance at your company. For more details, please apply through the inquiry section.
