Stability in the Master Chamber!? Verification Experiment
Stable even in winter!? Shortened cycle time!? Are you troubled by false judgments from differential pressure air leak testers? - Too many retries for no-leak products... - Not fitting within the specified cycle time... - Test results are unstable in winter... The master chamber resolves these issues! 90% of users experience a 50% improvement in repeatability compared to without a master. [High performance] [Robustness] [Reliability] The MC series contributes to quality improvement. This time, we conducted verification experiments, so we hope you find it helpful.

basic information
1. 【Overview】 This study examines how the leakage amount and equivalent volume change and stabilize when a master chamber is attached compared to when it is not. The MC-2000B (master chamber) will be continuously connected on the work side for verification. 2. 【Equipment Used in the Experiment】 - LS-R902 (Air Leak Tester) x 1 URL: https://www.ipros.jp/product/detail/2000700603?hub=39+LS-R902 - MC-2000B (Master Chamber) x 2 (for work side and master side) URL: https://www.ipros.jp/product/detail/2000697149 3. 【Test Conditions】 Test Pressure: 100 kPa Pressurization Time: 2 sec Isobaric Time: 3 sec Equilibrium Time: 2 sec Detection Time: 3 sec

Applications/Examples of results
**Experiment Content/Results** 1. Verification of Equivalent Volume K(Ve) Measurement With Master 1st time: 1042.1 mL 2nd time: 1042.5 mL 3rd time: 1042.0 mL With Master: Decided on 1042 mL Without Master 1st time: 1126.1 mL 2nd time: 1124.6 mL 3rd time: 1124.1 mL Without Master: Decided on 1124.1 mL **Results** The error increases significantly with and without the Master. The volume of the MC-2000B should be approximately 1000 mL. Since the tester volume (13 mL) and piping volume are included, the volume with the Master is more accurately measured. 2. Extracted Measurement Data Total of 35 times With Master Average: 0.0234 mL/min Standard Deviation: 0.0226 mL/min 3Σ: 0.068 mL/min Without Master Average: 1.090 mL/min Standard Deviation: 0.0310 mL/min 3Σ: 0.093 mL/min **Verification Results** Using the master chamber significantly reduced the average value and decreased the variation by 30%.

The Air Leak Tester from Cosmo Instruments started with the automation of cylinder block airtightness testing in 1970. It is utilized in various fields such as automotive parts, gas, water supply, medical, electrical, electronics, and food industries. Since 1983, we have begun our overseas expansion in line with the overseas development of Japanese automotive manufacturers. Currently, we are conducting proposal activities and after-sales service activities similar to those in Japan from 24 locations in 13 countries. Recently, to respond to the electrification of automobiles, we have enabled leak testing of electrification components such as battery cases and inverters, as well as fitting tests for various power connectors, contributing to our customers' CO2 emission reduction efforts. Additionally, we have donated pressure measurement equipment to technical schools in South Asia and Southeast Asia to improve the quality of education, engaged in technical exchanges with local machinery manufacturers, and worked to enhance the industrial foundation through the production of high-quality leak testing equipment locally. We will continue to deliver the value of "quality" by applying our wisdom on-site for our customers and to contribute to the development of local communities.
