The "VF-5ms" is a 5% phenyl column that has undergone advanced inert treatment, designed to maximize sensitivity, accuracy, and the operational efficiency of GC with low bleed GC/MS capabilities. Column bleed is guaranteed to be below 1 pA at 325°C (for 0.25mm × 30m, 0.25μm). It has a slightly higher polarity than VF-1ms and offers excellent selectivity for aromatic compounds.
