Introducing efforts for decarbonization in concrete pump delivery on February 21, 2023 (Tuesday)!
The 19th Pumping Technology Research Meeting will be held at the "Osaka Institute of Technology Umeda Campus" (with simultaneous web streaming). In this experiment, we conducted actual pumping using several types of commercially available retarders instead of the usual retarders, and examined the characteristics of their usage, the risk of blockage, and the impact of the retarders on the properties of concrete (amount of waste from the nozzle), among other considerations. The Kinki Ready-Mixed Concrete Pumping Cooperative is an organization established by ready-mixed concrete pumping operators, and it has been 30 years since its founding. The Kinki Pumping Cooperative, consisting of 114 companies from 2 prefectures and 3 counties in the Kinki region, has 163 registered core skilled workers in concrete pumping and has continued to grow, now owning 680 registered concrete pump trucks (as of July 2022). We will continue to strive for safe construction and the improvement of ready-mixed concrete pumping technology.
