This is a sensor ring gear used for position detection of the rotating shaft in machine tools. The indexing accuracy is of utmost importance for the gear that detects the indexing position of the spindle. If the indexing accuracy is poor, it will affect the machine's precision during indexing and consequently impact the accuracy of the processed workpiece.
