We have two devices prepared to investigate the source of sound: a digital sound level meter and a visualization device using an acoustic camera, both of which help identify the location of the sound. With the digital sound level meter, measurements can be taken from 30 dB to 130 dB. Measurements can be taken in seconds, and the data can be graphed to show the fluctuations in noise levels. Additionally, measurements using the visualization acoustic camera not only identify the location of the noise but also allow for measurements of the surrounding space, enabling pinpoint confirmation of where the sound is coming from and the range of sound that can be heard.
