The meticulous, manual PCB inspection process has been a challenge for the production facility. By using Robotiq’s 2F-85 Adaptive Gripper for handling 115 types of PCBs, the company was able to increase the number of inspected units by 33%. Additionally, the company tracks daily production metrics with Robotiq Insights. They utilize this data to assess validity and added a second Universal Robots collaborative robot in the summer of 2019.
