The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry is promoting initiatives to facilitate the accurate introduction of "smart security technologies" through public-private collaboration. As part of this effort, the Smart Security Promotion Committee evaluates the validity of new security methods utilizing smart security technologies and data, and aims to share and disclose information on new technologies and smart security models to promote their introduction and expansion. This information is compiled and published as the "Smart Security Technology Catalog" by the National Institute of Technology and Evaluation (NITE).
