[BIM Software Implementation Case] Maren Corporation's Circulating Fluidized Bed Boiler
Improvement in detailed design of joints through modeling! A case where design errors were minimized.
We would like to introduce a case study on the implementation of BIM software in the design of Maren's Circulating Fluidized Bed (CFB) boiler. In this project, the use of "Tekla Structures" was essential for coordinating and adapting various piping and structural designs across different sections. Tasks were allocated early in the bidding phase, and effective detailed design of joints allowed for quick generation of drawings, minimizing design errors. At the points where structural steel components connect to the plant piping supports, structural members either converted IFC data to raw data of the same product or referenced IFC as information to be displayed in product drawings for verification. High-level detailed design has led to zero errors. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.
