The MI1SKG-403M sound level meter is a digital sound level meter equipped with a data logger function that can handle equivalent noise level measurements and standard noise measurements. The equivalent noise level can be selected for intervals of 10 seconds, 1, 5, 10, 20, 30 minutes, and 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, and 24 hours. When the equivalent noise measurement starts, a timer activates, and upon completion, the equivalent level is displayed. With a data logger function that has a memory capacity of 64,000, it can record noise over long periods along with date and time. It complies with the sound level meter standard IEC61672-1 Class 2 (conforming to JIS C 1509-1: 2005 Class 2). It measures noise in an automatic range from 30 to 130 dB with high accuracy of ±1.4 dB. The noise during measurement is displayed in numerical values with a resolution of 0.1 dB and as a bar graph.

The MI1SLC-437M allows for the selection of A/C characteristics and FAST/SLOW modes, as well as features for maximum (MAX) and minimum (MIN) noise memory functions, tailored to the location and environment for measuring noise. The MI1SKG-403M automatically records noise along with the measurement date and time at specified intervals ranging from 1 second to 1 minute, saving the data in its internal memory. The stored noise data can be easily downloaded to a computer using the included analysis software and USB cable, and displayed in graph form. The saved data can also be viewed in Excel format. Additionally, it is possible to connect to a computer for real-time noise measurement. To accommodate long-term measurements, the MI1SKG-403M can use a 5VDC micro USB charger and features AC/DC output for connection to recorders and other devices. With the MI1SKG-403M, calibration can be easily performed via key operation using the optional noise calibrator (MI1SLC-437M).
