The FMT-W30 is very user-friendly with lever operation, making it ideal as a portable device when a constant pulling speed is not required or when there is no main power supply to operate a motorized tensile testing machine. The crimp receptacle fixture has 12 slots with widths ranging from 0.5 to 6 mm, covering AWG 8 to 30, allowing for quick and easy terminal attachment. Before starting the automatic test with just the push of a button, the cable is securely held by the high-speed action lever onto the cam. The digital display shows the peak load at 1000 Hz, and the tensile strength test results are clearly indicated in units of Newtons, pounds-force, and kiloforce. It is also possible to save data and transfer it to optional software to create test reports.
