The VDL4000N uses coaxial cable to transmit the Ethernet and power necessary for IP camera installation. - It supports Ethernet standards 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX, with a maximum bidirectional communication speed of 60 Mbps. - For 5C-FB cables, it can supply DC12V 1A at 800m and 2.5A at 400m. - The power can also be used for devices other than cameras, allowing for the installation of infrared illuminators, sensors, microphones, etc. * It cannot be used with PoE-only cameras or cameras that require DC12V power. * The VDL4000N is not compatible with the VDL4000 (discontinued product).
