The AX850 (AX-850) is a portable digital radio receiver for fire and emergency services manufactured by wave CSR. It is a portable receiver that complies with the common specifications for digital fire and emergency radio, operating in the 260MHz/270MHz SCPC band, allowing you to listen to digital fire radio. The frequencies that can be received are limited to a single wave preset by the manufacturer in advance. It supports various scan settings and is easy to use, allowing for simple channel selection with a rotary selector. It can be configured for up to 128 channels and 64 pairs. It also allows for activation restrictions with a password lock. It meets the IP67 dust and waterproof standards, and remains compliant even when the antenna and battery are removed from the main unit. In addition to the dedicated option connector on the side, it features a φ3.5mm headphone jack, allowing you to directly connect the separately sold EP850 headphones to the radio unit. The unit is housed in a lightweight, compact casing made from durable aluminum die-cast material.
