The C850ZD (C-850-ZD) is a digital radio receiver for fire and emergency services manufactured by Wave CSR. It is a portable receiver that complies with the common specifications for fire and emergency digital radios, operating in the 260MHz/270MHz SCPC band. It features a large-diameter speaker with a diameter of 57mm, making it easy to hear audio. It can store up to 100 channels in memory and can scan designated channels. It can be powered by a household AC power supply of 100V (when using an AC adapter), DC 12V, DC 24V, or eight AA alkaline batteries. When using eight AA alkaline batteries, it can operate for approximately 7 hours, based on a usage ratio of 1:9 for receiving to standby. The operation is intuitive and simple, as you only need to turn on the power and adjust the volume and channel. Channel switching is easy with a rotary switch. The LED indicators are user-friendly, showing red for power, green for talking, and orange for scanning. The antenna connector on the radio side is an MJ type.
