Semi-Dry Processing.com: Differences and Advantages of Processing Equipment - Mist Lubrication and Conveying
It is necessary to connect the tool with a pipe of the same diameter (preferably a straight pipe) to prevent the mist from liquefying!
There are two methods for supplying mist: the external supply method, which has been used since ancient times with band saws and saw blades, and the internal supply method, which is used for drills and other tools that cannot receive lubrication from the outside. This method involves sending mist into drills equipped with oil holes drilled into the tool. Additionally, in the internal supply method, a technique has emerged since around 1990 where mist is discharged from the turret of machining centers with spindle through or NC lathes. When transporting this mist, it is important to be cautious of the liquefaction of the mist. If the mist piping is long, the mist can adhere to the inner wall of the pipe and liquefy, changing the properties of the mist. This is particularly pronounced in areas where the piping has bends or where there are check valves (orifices), as liquefaction tends to occur more strongly at the curvature or orifice, so these should be avoided. *For more detailed information, please refer to the related links. Cool Tech is a manufacturer of devices and cutting oils that improve productivity in metal processing and enhance the environment. Since its establishment in 1983, Cool Tech has contributed to improving the productivity of manufacturing lines, primarily in the construction machinery industry, through its engineering business. However, with the acceleration of overseas relocations of construction machinery manufacturers' production facilities, it became necessary to respond to these environmental changes. Therefore, based on the experience and knowledge gained from previous businesses, we have shifted our business model to develop, manufacture, and sell devices aimed at improving productivity for the metal processing industry. Currently, we offer a range of products that propose solutions to issues related to cutting oils, including water-soluble mist devices, high pH alkaline ion water generators, and dedicated cutting oils. We have received support from numerous customers both domestically and internationally. Utilizing the experience and knowledge cultivated over many years in the engineering business, we will contribute to the development of the metal processing industry through product development that realizes productivity improvements in metal processing and sales through consulting for our customers.
