At Tsurumi University and Tsurumi University Junior College, we reviewed our inefficient and impractical operations and aimed to build an efficient, simple, and user-friendly infrastructure. We adopted "LDAP Manager" from Exgen Networks, which features an easy-to-understand GUI for the management screen and offers numerous plugins for system integration. Additionally, considering the convenience in usage and operations, we discontinued the distribution of fixed IP addresses to users, which had been previously implemented, and transitioned to a DHCP environment. The library web service system, integrated with ID management, is frequently used by students, and its standardization has improved convenience.
