At Kanaiwa Hospital, a medical corporation in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture, we have introduced core systems such as electronic medical records, PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System), ordering, and medical information systems with the aim of improving medical services, enhancing operational efficiency, and implementing security measures. All of these core systems have been built in a VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) environment, converting all terminals within the hospital to zero clients. Using PCoIP, which excels in rendering performance, in a VDI environment configured with "Dell Wyse P25 zero clients" and "VMware Horizon View," we also reference PACS images displayed on dual monitors.
