The resort hotel improved the deteriorating guest room Wi-Fi communication issues with Wi-Fi 6 wireless access points, achieving stable high-speed communication with high customer satisfaction.
In February 2023, the resort hotel Mahoroba Mines Miura replaced all guest room free Wi-Fi equipment. It is said that in recent years, the communication volume of guests has dramatically increased, making it impossible to accommodate with the existing facilities. The new equipment chosen includes Wi-Fi 6 compatible wireless access points DBA-X1230P and gigabit layer 2 switch DBS-2000-28, both compatible with the cloud-based network management service 'Nuclias Cloud.' This implementation takes advantage of cloud management benefits, allowing for communication status checks and device restarts without entering the guest rooms during incidents. The representative also shared future plans, stating, "In addition to the guest rooms we have implemented this time, we want to enhance Wi-Fi facilities in banquet halls, conference rooms, and restaurants." 【Key Points】 - To achieve stable high-speed communication even in spacious guest rooms of at least 68 square meters, a review of wireless LAN design based on radio wave surveys was conducted. - Cloud-managed products were selected for easier fault isolation from outside the guest rooms. - Features that assist in maintenance, such as device restarts and cable diagnostics, were highly valued.
