Biomass plastic containing 10-60% starch - Helping with SDGs initiatives, plastic reduction, and CO2 reduction.
Starch is widely used industrially in paper, cardboard, mortar, adhesives, and more. The biomass composite material that combines this industrial starch with 10-60% PP or PE is the "NEOPLA S Series." By changing the composition of the blend, it can be adjusted to a wide range from hard to soft materials, and it also has excellent colorability, with grades available that are compatible with various molding processes such as inflation molding, extrusion molding, blow molding, and injection molding. The injection molding grade with 55% starch has an MFR of over 20g/10min, making it excellent in moldability, and it is possible to obtain molded products with over 51% starch even when colored with MB. It is also possible to adjust the starch content and composition according to your purpose and application, so please feel free to consult with us.
