Single-cell isolation is a necessary step for various applications, ranging from the development of high-yield, stable cell lines for biopharmaceutical manufacturing to the development of CRISPR-edited iPSCs for disease modeling and drug development. Traditionally, single cells have been isolated using manual approaches (such as limiting dilution) or FACS to generate clonal cell lines. However, these approaches can be labor-intensive, yield low results, and extend development timelines. Bio-Techne's Pala cell sorting and single-cell dispenser automate single-cell isolation through dual-laser fluorescence and gentle cell dispensing, improving hit rates and quality while saving time and yielding better results.
