RFID: Case Studies on Streamlining Inventory Management, Inbound/Outbound Shipping, and Picking
Instantly pinpoint the location of items! Introducing examples of contributions to alleviating labor shortages.
We would like to introduce a case where a logistics company implemented a management system to improve the efficiency of inventory, shipping and receiving, and picking. There are various challenges such as not being able to find packages even when searching for registered locations in the system, and during busy periods, packages overflow and it becomes unclear where everything is located. By utilizing "Locus Mapping" and "P3 Finder," not only can inventory and shipping and receiving be streamlined, but daily location management can also be made more efficient. Additionally, by implementing "Locus Gate," efficiency in shipping and receiving can be achieved. [Results] ■ Locus Mapping/P3 Finder - Instantly identifies the location of items being searched for, contributing to alleviating labor shortages. ■ Locus Gate - Allows for bulk reading with RFID gate antennas, generally reducing time by 10-20%. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

We are developing Locus Mapping (an inventory and item management system that visualizes the location of items using RFID) and RFID production and process management systems, addressing labor shortages and improving productivity in retail, manufacturing, and logistics. RFID tags have become inexpensive, costing less than 10 yen each, and can read large quantities instantly, reducing the time required for inventory and shipping tasks by 80%. Previously, it was not possible to identify the location of scanned items, but our patented technology (radio wave phase analysis) enables the identification of the location of inventory and items, which can also be utilized for location management.
