Utilization of RFID radar functionality for product and inventory search. A case study of significant reduction in stockouts.
We would like to introduce a case study of the implementation of "P3 Finder" at Baroque Japan Limited. In the logistics warehouse, a warehouse management system is used to manage products by location, but the main tasks such as sorting and inspection are performed by humans, which inevitably led to mistakes and errors. By implementing this system, any staff member can easily search for products, significantly reducing instances of stockouts where sales could not be made due to unavailable items. [Features] ■Challenges - The numbers in the system do not match the quantity of products on-site. - Unable to find products that should be available, resulting in missed sales opportunities. ■Results - Significantly reduced the workload that was a burden on staff. - Clearly identified the causes when there is a discrepancy between data and the quantity of products on hand. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

We are developing Locus Mapping (an inventory and item management system that visualizes the location of items using RFID) and RFID production and process management systems, addressing labor shortages and improving productivity in retail, manufacturing, and logistics. RFID tags have become inexpensive, costing less than 10 yen each, and can read large quantities instantly, reducing the time required for inventory and shipping tasks by 80%. Previously, it was not possible to identify the location of scanned items, but our patented technology (radio wave phase analysis) enables the identification of the location of inventory and items, which can also be utilized for location management.
