We have developed a "cleaning device and process" that achieves a turbidity of 2 degrees or less in the washing wastewater of slow filtration and scraped sand by applying "chiffon cleaning." The "Chiffon Under 2" can clean scraped filtration sand to a condition comparable to new sand. It realizes a reduction in processing time and a decrease in water usage.
