We would like to introduce a case study of the implementation of "SEMS (Smart Equipment Monitoring Service)" to a major building equipment maintenance company. The company is contracted for on-site maintenance of facilities at a municipal hospital and was required to thoroughly manage the room temperature in the server room. This resulted in a significant workload due to the need for checks at two locations, 12 times a day, 365 days a year, in addition to regular patrols. After implementation, remote monitoring became possible via smartphone, reducing the workload and allowing staff to focus on tasks other than room temperature checks with peace of mind.
