It is possible to see wounds that are not visible to the eye! Here are examples from test pieces of penetrant testing.
Penetrant testing (PT) and magnetic particle testing (MT) are used for non-destructive inspection of metal parts in aircraft and metal fatigue in oil tanks. A test piece for penetrant testing was photographed using "UV-SVGNC365-01". After spraying fluorescent paint on the areas with metal fatigue and rinsing it off, fluorescent agents remain in the invisible tiny cracks. By applying fluorescent paint to those areas, it becomes possible to see cracks that are not visible to the naked eye. For inspections that require stable output and wavelength, the "Hygrangea series" is recommended. 【The inspection requires a black light that meets the following conditions according to JIS standards】 ■ Irradiation surface must be between 1,000μW/cm2 and 5,000μW/cm2 ■ The relative response characteristics must not exceed 105% at all wavelengths ■ Peak value must be between wavelengths of 355nm and 375nm ■ Value at wavelength 313nm must be less than 10% ■ Value at wavelength 405nm must be less than 2% *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.
