After the laser light emitted by the laser diode is collimated into parallel light by a collimator lens, it can be focused only in the sub-scanning direction near the reflective surface of the polygon mirror using a cylindrical lens. Traditionally, these lenses are generally made of glass aspherical lenses, but it is possible to use a single resin component that can reduce lens costs and assembly costs. By using two reflective surfaces with free-form shapes on both sides and making the incident and exit surfaces the diffraction surfaces, aberrations can be minimized, and performance variations due to temperature changes can be suppressed. *For more details, please feel free to contact us.
