Advme8088 is a 6U single-slot width VME form factor CPU board equipped with the Intel Xeon D-1700 processor series. By adopting the VME form factor, which is widely used in many industrial devices, it is possible to reduce the customer's labor and development time required for upgrading existing systems. The Intel Xeon D-1700 processor series features more cores and faster interfaces, making it ideal for applications that handle many inputs and processes simultaneously. The Serial RapidIO interface connected to the VXS and XMC connectors enables seamless high-speed communication with peripheral boards and external devices. Both of the two-slot XMC slots are PCI Express Gen3 x8, connected to the CPU, and support high-speed network interfaces and accelerators.
