The "IP700 Series" is a hybrid IP transceiver that combines the functionality of a mobile phone call area, allowing communication anywhere within the mobile phone coverage area, with a business-use radio in one device. In business-use radio mode, direct communication between radios is possible, allowing calls to be made as long as there is signal coverage (approximately a few kilometers in clear line-of-sight conditions) without relying on other infrastructure.
