■Welding Joint Testing of Cylindrical Cells Cylindrical cells require multiple welds during assembly, including between the cathode tab and the cell cap, between the anode tab and the bottom of the can, and individual welds between tabs. To achieve high productivity and reproducible results, it is essential to correctly align these welds and use appropriate gripping solutions. ■Welding Joint Testing of Prism Cells The welding joints of prism cells are predominantly located between the cathode/anode tabs and each collector, as well as inside the busbar or the can itself. Breakage can occur at all locations, and consistency and durability need to be verified. ■Welding Joint Testing of Pouch Cells Pouch cells have the anode or cathode tabs welded together, with each tab welded to the cell terminals.
