basic information
Three models to choose from based on your needs: 2MHz: Reduces artifacts caused by ferromagnetic materials in the sample and mimics the operation of NMR logging tools. 12MHz: For improved sensitivity of low porosity samples or reduced measurement time. 20MHz: Used for high-sensitivity measurements of small samples. All GeoSpec lock core analyzers come with LithoMetrix software, which serves as the user interface and enables all equipment management and basic core analysis functions. Additionally, upgrading LithoMetrix to Green Imaging Technology Systems allows for the addition of more advanced measurements such as 2D mapping, diffusion studies, capillary pressure, and saturation profiles. Users of GeoSpec devices with 3D gradients can utilize GIT Systems' 3D imaging software to maximize the performance of their equipment.

Applications/Examples of results
From routine rock core analysis to advanced petrophysics, we cater to all users. The GeoSpec Core Analyzer 2MHz model is the industry standard for routine measurements of relaxation distributions, enabling the prediction of fundamental parameters in petrophysics such as porosity, determination of free and bound fluids, and T2 cutoff. The high-field GeoSpec models (12MHz and 20MHz) can be used in situations requiring higher sensitivity, such as samples with very low porosity, as well as in specialized applications like magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
