The Japan Chlorine Dioxide Chemical Industry Association, with the support of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, has been working on the establishment of "scientifically reliable standards for commercially available chlorine dioxide water products." Recently, after going through the development process based on the JSA standard development system of the "JSA General Foundation Japan Standards Association," it has been officially approved as a JSA standard, and on March 25, 2022, the JSA standard "JSA-S1012:2022 Chlorine Dioxide Molecular Aqueous Solution" was issued.
