The Quectel EG25-G is an LTE Cat 4 module optimized specifically for M2M and IoT applications. It adopts the 3GPP Rel.11 LTE standard and provides maximum data speeds of 150 Mbps downlink and 50 Mbps uplink. Designed with a unified compact form factor, the EG25-G is compatible with Quectel's UMTS/HSPA+ UC200T series modules and the multi-mode LTE standard EC2x series (EC25, EC21, EC20 R2.1)/EG21-G modules, enabling flexible design and manufacturing. The EG25-G is backward compatible with existing EDGE and GSM/GPRS networks, allowing connectivity even in remote areas without 4G or 3G coverage.
