The Quectel EG21-G is an LTE Cat 1 module optimized specifically for M2M and IoT applications. It adopts the 3GPP Rel.11 LTE standard, providing maximum data speeds of up to 10 Mbps downlink and 5 Mbps uplink. Designed with a unified compact form factor, the EG21-G is compatible with Quectel's UMTS/HSPA+ UC200T series modules and multi-mode LTE standard EC2x series (EC25, EC21, EC20 R2.1)/EG25-G modules, allowing for flexible migration in design and usage. The EG21-G is also backward compatible with existing EDGE and GSM/GPRS networks, enabling connectivity in remote areas without 4G or 3G coverage.
