When implementing automation, it is necessary to consider which processes to automate and how to recover the investment. I conveyed that careful consideration is needed on these points. To achieve effectiveness during implementation, there are four preparatory items to consider: "return on investment," "considering layout," "new tasks for existing personnel," and "preparing limit samples." I believe that many of you have company policies urging you to automate and reduce labor costs, but if these points are not adequately addressed, issues may arise such as "we implemented it, but it is not delivering results..."
