The Black Pearl Ceramic Coating is a patented technology that overturns the conventional thinking of ceramic anilox. The core technology of this coating process has been uniquely designed and improved by CAE, resulting in an automated robotic system that integrates ceramic thermal spraying and the BPCC process. This has enabled the high reproducibility of cell patterns created by laser engraving, independent of the skill level of the ceramic thermal spraying operator. To ensure reliable adhesion, it is necessary to manufacture the axis runout (T.I.R.) and outer diameter (O.D.) of both the gluing roll and the doctor roll within tolerances. This ensures the most stable and narrowest gap tolerances possible, reducing the amount of starch adhesive used while achieving the required adhesion strength. Manufactured with the most stringent T.I.R. and O.D., the high-performance glue set consists of doctor rolls and gluing rolls made with a unique black Black Pearl mirror-finished ceramic coating, enabling high yield, increased production speed, reduced starch adhesive consumption, ease of cleaning, high reproducibility, and extended roll lifespan.
