The lightweight "Bell Block Lite" dramatically evolves tunnel construction!
● Developed and launched a bell block specifically for on-site hand holes in tunnels, designed for square EFLEX. ● Improved workability by changing the material from resin concrete to resin, resulting in approximately half the product weight. ● Contributed to the development of road infrastructure by shortening construction periods for tunnel work using square EFLEX. As a new addition to the multi-line square EFLEX series, we have developed and launched the Bell Block Lite, which can contribute to shortening construction periods for tunnel cable installation. Compared to the conventional resin concrete bell blocks, it is approximately half the weight, which is expected to enhance labor efficiency. Additionally, while the current mainstream wall thickness for on-site hand holes in tunnels is 150mm and 200mm, the previous resin lineup required a 50mm recess at the connection part of the hand hole bell block for a wall thickness of 200mm. With the addition of a type that accommodates a wall thickness of 200mm, it will now be possible to handle hand holes with a wall thickness of 200mm without the need for recessing.
